Choosing between a Mark II Price labeller and a Mark II Date Labeller – they both have a 10-character top line and an 8-character bottom line, use the same style of ink rollers, and accept Mark II labels.

A Price Labeller is configured to print prices and stock codes. Examples include retail prices such as "$4.99" or stock references.

A Date Labeller is configured to print dates and works with labels such as "Use By" or "Best Before" labels. These labels have a pre-printed heading and a blank area where the gun prints the date.

If you're running a shop and mainly marking prices → choose the Mark II Price Labeller. If you're marking food products, prepared meals, bakery items, or inventory with expiry dates → choose the Mark II Date Labeller.
